Video 21 - An Alternative Christmas Message

Sidepodcast TV logo

The Queen may have her annual Christmas message, she may even be on YouTube this year. However, Sidepodcast still has the first lady of F1 podcasting and she’s posh too. So we’ll go one better this year with an alternate (vaguely Formula 1 themed) festive message.

We’d love to promise it’ll cheer you up and make your day, but given some of this years scandals, you might want to keep the antidepressants on hand just in case.

Merry Christmas to one and all!

Montagny as pink fairy?! Surreal stuff! Johnny Rotten would be proud of you. I guess.

Great message, you had me laughing all the way through. And now I can’t get the image of a prancing Franck in a tutu out of my mind. Merry Christmas guys.

Very interesting approach to reviewing the year. I enjoyed it.

I was glad to see the FIA/AMD survey included. I am still furious that I wasted 15 minutes of my life filling it in 2 seasons in a row only for Max to produce his view of the future of F1 within a week of it closing and before the results were published. It was a perfect example of how important the fans views are to Max.

Yes, merry Christmas and all that indeed. Excellent video, well written, very clever and superbly put together. One suggestion: either move the camera angle very slightly upwards or get control of those hands, Christine! ;)

Clive, you’re absolutely right. I wasn’t aware my hands were going to be in shot, otherwise I might have been a bit less gesture-happy. It bugs me as well. But still, every video we make we learn something else to think about!!

Ollie - no thinking about Franck like that please! I’m not in charge of editing, but I can only assume it was a coincidence that the pink helmet was shown with the pink fairy reference.

    Merry Christmas everyone :)

we hadn’t realised until it came to putting that shot in, that the 2006 survey results are no longer available.

the website simply says they’re “unavailable”.

do you think maybe the FIA didn’t like the look of what they had discovered?

    Christine,

Screamingly funny: had me laughing out loud. Underneath that sober exterior is a comedienne of the first water:)
