nelson dropped a link in the comments during the monaco gp that worked pretty well for us:

might be worth checking out, otherwise the eurosport feed is choppy but always available:

are any bittorrent geeks out there today?

we’re just trying out an alternate way of providing access to podcasts and wondered if anyone could test the downloading of today’s f1 digest episode for us:

    http://cdn.sidepodcast.com/f1digest/digest25.mp3?torrent

now, i’m the first to admit that i don’t know much about p2p file transfers, but i think that file is a seed. also, geeky christine is providing another seed (or will be until she goes to sleep, anyhow).

if this works out, we’ll do this for all the shows.

if you don’t know much about BT bit wouldn’t mind giving it try, we recommend the azureus client:

Another day rich in declarations, Saint Luca says he wants Max to leave but wants someone like Max to run the FIA.

    ???

    Cool.

And Kimster confirms he couldn’t care less. Fantastic.

Luca has since changed his mind and says Max should stay. I assumed the original comment had been a mis-print but he apparenlty gave the answer in an interview with Bloomberg TV so there should be a video of it somewhere.

I really can’t figure out Luca’s motivation for the first statement or what/who persuaded him to change it and look like he couldn’t make his mind up.

Well, the Weather Network’s (www.theweathernetwork.com) website is calling for Cloudy with showers and 60% chance of rai, humidity droping from 94% to 83% and winds from the south at 5 km/h.

Reading between the lines. It is going to be a hot day with the normal temperature at 24 degrees C but we have this wonderful thing called “Feels like” which is 33 degrees C. Becasue it is going to be hot and humid, and maybe hazy, well it is going to feel like a “dry heat of 33 degrees C.”

Chance of Thunderstorms on both Saturday and Sunday. 40% and 60% chance of rain on Race day.Air Temperatures of 29 degrees C on both days but lossing 3 degrees of humidity on Sunday to 33 degrees of humidity. Odds are it is going to pour for all of eight laps. There will be half the field wiped out and the safety car will be sent out. If I was at the back of the train and had the fuel to do it, keep the guy on slicks. The track will dry out in about 10 laps and Sutil actually has damn good odds for first place.

Just saw a picture of the Ferrari for Canada.
It doesn’t seem to have wings on its airbox and they are definitely not using the special holey nose.

just in case you are wondering, right now here in Montreal - rain has stopped and hour and half before practice one, sunshine expected afternoon - time to head to the track :-)

storms all around here however. don’t remember too many more uncomfortable flights than those I had to experience yesterday while getting here :-)

I’d be delighted if so, but I wouldn’t put any money on it. It was supposed to rain in Monaco qualifying and it was nearly 24 hours late…
