This is the omnibus edition of Forgotten F1 teams, gathering together the seven short shows that made up the mini series, originally released over consecutive evenings.
Here are the links to the individual show notes:
We had lots of good suggestions coming in for more forgotten teams that didn’t make this list, so look out for a second series coming soon.

For a moment there I thought Omnibus was a forgotten F1 team… I really had forgotten about them!

Omnibus was a British Formula 1 team in the pre-Vanwall days of the 1950’s. They where so bad that they were not even able to enter the races as the truck carrying the car kept on breaking down on the highway some where. Thus, it is not surprizing that no one has heard of them.
The team owner was a firm believer in keeping the car as light as possible. Nothing wrong with that idea but it does go a little to far if you do not put any fuel in the car….
At the next race, the same team owner found out that air actually does have weight, so he had the tyres deflated….
And the list goes on and on.

Yea, I’m not very good at being consistent. Although, that was part of the thinking behind leaving it a few days before introducing the omnibus.
Back to the drawing board again!!
