Welcome to the Sidepodcast Guide to Formula 1. This is the omnibus edition, where the seven separate shows (originally released over seven days) are brought together in one place.
Here are the links to the individual show notes:
This was the first mini series Sidepodcast ever released, originally in 2007, and served as a good introduction to the sport for those who had never watched before.

Are you planning to release the omnibus for every mini-series this weekend then?

nah, time is a bit tight this weekend. i think christine’s planning on catching up as and when she’s got some spare time.
in future, they’ll probably follow a couple of days after the series is done.
apologies to anyone who’s heard it all before, but the fundamentals of podcasting (and syndication feeds in general) says that every show should have it’s own unique address on the web.

One thought struck me while listening to this. The paddle gear change got a mention and I thought when you were looking for people for your next F1 people mini-series its inventor and the man who was responsible for the design of the early carbon fibre McLaren’s, the packacging of the TAG engine, the 640 series Ferraris etc would be worth considering. His name is John Barnard.
