Inside Track - São Paulo

Sidepodcast TV logo

And so it is, the final race of the 2008 season. This championship has simply flown by and now it all comes down to this final weekend in Brazil.

Autódromo José Carlos Pace is the destination as Sidepodcast takes a flying lap around the track that will host the deciding race on Sunday. Both trophies are still up for grabs, so join Christine as she looks at the current state of play and looks back upon the dramatic events that took place here in ‘07.

Toyota have little to gain and little to lose this weekend, so it’ll come as no surprise that their attention is already wandering into preparations for next year. The Formula 1 circus never rests, so please enjoy the very last Sidepodcast preview for this year.

Special thanks go out to Allianz SE, Toyota Motorsports GmbH, AT&T Williams and RTV GmbH for the use of their video footage.

hey, we work. technically i don’t have to make sure i’m free on friday’s after tomorrow though.

what we’re going to fill our time with, is another question altogether.

So many shows to keep up with even you guys can’t keep up with them!

oops. i blame ollie and dom, and janet and jolly for not pointing it out at the time…

actually, it may have been intentional on christine’s part, because podpanel isn’t really race coverage. wouldn’t hurt have given it a plug though. rats.

You can’t make this stuff up, can you?

I still maintain it should be Jackie, Jolly, Dom and Ollie though. Now where’s my pay check?

ahh, but what to do next year?

    implying is cheaper than doing.

More plays on words, presumably. :)

I thought it was Jolly (,) Ollie, Dom and Jackie…..

Hopefully Christine will spend some of the free time in the off season on ways of improving that “Benchmark of a Bad Team” of hers, Sidepodcast Racers….. :P

It was a conscious decision on my part, because we’ve never plugged Sidepodpanel on Inside Track before, and would therefore have to explain what it was.

I used the explaining part on this video for Parade Lap which I think is more fitting for a Brazil preview than Sidepodpanel would be.

Also, the more we try and explain what Sidepodpanel is, the more likely it is we’ll get sued by a certain panel show that shares similarities with it :)

Nah, we changed it so it would rhyme.

I wouldn’t worry about that - all their questions are about football and they miss obvious answers to questions where they could use F1 examples!
