Live: Rehearsals

We’ve been using our weekend “off” to make some changes to the studio, start consolidating all the good things we have and trying to make everything better. More importantly, we want to make our lives just that little bit easier, and to do that, we need to practice.

Hence, this live rehearsal. This is not a show. I don’t even know what we’re going to achieve, but we’re going against the grain and ignoring the “rehearsals are for wimps” mantra.

If you’re around, feel free to join in the comments, ask us questions, get involved. It’s not meant to be any kind of show, I doubt it will be entertaining, but your company is always welcome.

Live: Don’t Mention the P*******

As promised, this week is all about fuel. Actually, it’s not all about fuel but a good proportion of it talks about what we learnt from Shell during Friday Free Practice at Silverstone.

We also have a lot of feedback to catch up with, plus we take a look at how some of the Fantasy Racers teams are doing now that we are basically halfway through the season.

We’re hoping to be ready for 6pm BST so we can let you lovely people be off in time to watch Top Gear. However, this is Sidepodcast, and you must be prepared to expect the unexpected.

Live: Supporting the F1 Loonies

A bumper show today covering all things Silverstone, as not only did we live comment the race, but we also managed to turn up there on Friday. Listen in for more details.

We’ve got a whole host of goodies today, including many voicemails, some shoutouts, some Rob and Ted News (Rob needs his own jingle, I say), plus the usual good stuff.

We’re starting early, any time now, in order to try and avoid Top Gear. With such a bumper show in store it may or may not happen, but you can’t say we didn’t try.

Live: I Want a Bigger Bibendum

With an entire day wiped out of our podcasting schedule, we are marvellously behind which means Alex is even more in charge than he was before. Living up to his title as the host, naturally.

We’re in for a fun-filled hour of songs, chatter, predictions and probably talk of food, and we are not allowed to run late because apparently the BBC have something special for their opening VT.

We’ll be going live at 11:10 BST, so make sure you’re in the live comments, as you’ll likely get a mention on the show. See you there!

Live: We’re Running Away with the Championship

The racing action today saw a brief end to the politics discussion, but now we’ve got to return to the week’s news and cover all things Formula 1 – racing or not.

The regular features make a return – Good Week/Bad Week, News and Views, Fantasy Racers and some excellent feedback. All that and more coming up in this week’s F1 Debrief live stream.

We’re hoping to be ready for 7:15pm BST, but I specify a time every week and it never comes true. One day it will. I promise.

Live: The Real Reason Fans Don’t Attend the Races

Why would you go all the way to Turkey and watch a race in the empty grandstands when you can stay at home and enjoy an hour of banter from the Sidepodcast Crew and Alex, an hour of build up by the BBC, and then coverage of the whole track?

Here in SPC Towers, we’re more than a little unprepared this week, but I know Alex will keep us under control. If you’ve got your predictions handy, then feel free to share them and we’ll try and read them out on the show.

We’ll be going live at 11:10 BST, and we’re scheduled to run for an hour, but we promise not to spill over into the BBC coverage.

Live: Indoors on a Day Like Today?

Actually, we already did the outdoor thing, and it was hot and sunny and all things beautiful. Now it’s time to hole up in the Sidepodbunker and prepare ourselves for another live streaming of the Debrief. What could possibly go wrong?

With just a small amount of news to catchup on, including those troublesome 2010 entries, we’re hosting a bumper feedback show this week, with emails and voicemails galore. Please keep them coming, as I love every single one.

We’re hoping to be ready for 7pm BST, but I think the sun may have fried our brains a little, and we might be running behind schedule. Fingers crossed though. See you soon!

Live: We’re Going Up Against the Indy 500

There’s some kind of racing going on that isn’t F1 and doesn’t involve Franck. Apologies if we are making you choose between the two, but there’s plenty to discuss in this week’s F1 Debrief.

There’s no Tremayning this week, but I hope you’ll all still join us in the comments and have your say about the things on the agenda this week. Unfortunately that is still budget caps, but also the Monaco race and a little bit of feedback as well.

We’re aiming for a 7pm BST start, although thinking about it… we’re going to be late, for sure! We’ll be ready as soon as possible, though, so stay tuned, and I’ll see you then!

Live: The Jewel in the Parade Lap Crown

The Parade Lap is back and this time we’re celebrating everything cliché as we get you started on this Monaco Grand Prix morning. You may find the odd mention of F1 but with our guest host Alex from SofaF1 joining us, chances are it will be all about the music and the giggles.

We Tremayned on the Debrief last week, so stay tuned to find out what games we can create in this next hour that will also become a Sidepodwide phenomenon.

We’ll be going live at 11:10 BST, and we’re scheduled to run for an hour, but we promise not to spill over into the BBC coverage.

Live: Seems Empty Without a Panel

Naturally, given that I said there wasn’t going to be a live show this week, there is a little bit of confusion about why there is one. My bad. Thing is, there just isn’t time to write mini series episodes at the moment, so the live show it is.

We’re hoping you’ll get involved, because it’s been a tough week in F1, and there must be a burning desire to Tremayne in all of you. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, head over here. We want you guys to come on the show and give us your best ‘grrrr’. You know you want to.

We’ll be going live at 7pm BST. I don’t know why I bother writing that every time because it never happens. Make your best guess as to what time we’ll really start, and I’ll see you then!
